AN INDUSTRY LEADER

AQUATIC SOLUTIONS NATIONWIDE

Formerly AVP Commercial Pools, in 2012 Commercial Aquatics Australia changed its name to recognise its growth from a small niche contractor in Western Australia to one of the largest and most experienced commercial aquatics companies in Australia.

Specialising in the design, construction, renovation, maintenance and water treatment of commercial pools, the company services aquatic centres, schools, hotels and resort developments, bringing a wealth of experience to this specialised area.

Commercial Aquatics Australia constructs facilities nationwide, from major competition and stadium venues to remote communities and mining camps. The company has an extensive portfolio of projects, including the featured pool and resort facilities at Crown Metropol Perth.

Constructed as part of Burswood Entertainment Complex’s $750 million refurbishment and rebrand to Crown Perth, the glamorous Vegas-style pool area covers 6200m? and includes a signature main pool, relaxation pool, a familyfriendly pool and ‘The Enclave’.

A special feature of the main pool is the ‘Baja Shelf’, which houses semi-submerged chaise longues, while the familyfriendly pool includes waterslides, spray fountains, water cannons and water buckets. ‘The Enclave’ is a secluded VIP retreat boasting six cabanas surrounding a private plunge pool and spa.

Supporting Crown Perth’s commitment to being a water-wise company, Commercial Aquatics Australia incorporated a number of water-saving features into the project.

This outstanding project was recognised at the 2012 Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Western Australia (SPASA WA) Awards of Excellence, winning gold in the Renovations – Commercial Pools category.

Commercial Aquatics Australia followed on its success at the 2012 awards by again taking out gold in the Renovations – Commercial Pools category at the 2013 SPASA WA Awards of Excellence, this time recognised for the redevelopment of Beatty Park Leisure Centre.

The redevelopment included a new ten-lane 50m fully-tiled concrete pool, with a depth to suit a number of activities and an accessible ramp for improved access for patrons with a disability.

An existing outdoor dive pool was renovated and converted into a fully-tiled wet deck pool for water polo and other activities. Next to the activities pool, Commercial Aquatics Australia constructed a new 12m x 12m ‘Learn to Swim’ pool. Inside, the leisure pool was retiled and equipped with new interactive children’s water features.

Commercial Aquatics brings a wealth of experience and expertise to every project and is proud to have a portfolio of projects that are improving quality of life across all sectors of the community.
