A COMPLETE, PERSONALISED SERVICE

WHERE THE PERSON WHO QUOTES IT, BUILDS IT

The featured pool is a hidden oasis – the homeowners’ very own private holiday spot, without the need for travel. Aqua Dream Pools was selected for this project because of its unique, hands-on approach to building concrete pools.

Throughout the build the owners of this property dealt only with the directors of the company from the first chat onsite, through to design and construction.

In this case, design and perimeter construction was completed by Wayne Ford of 4D Projects. Aqua Dream Pools was happy to assist with advice and ideas to ensure the pool build integrated with the surrounds. Ford’s impeccable eye for detail and demand for a quality finish was clear from the start and the end result is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.

Finished in ‘Sandy Beach’ Rainbow Quartz, the water mimics the natural beauty of a shallow beach. The high walls and wide step-entry, as well as the adjacent alfresco complete the feeling of an up-market Bali villa. The overall design has created a whole new lifestyle for the owners.

For each project, it’s important that the different building teams can communicate freely, especially as sites get smaller. It’s vital that everyone can work together to achieve the best possible results for the client. Aqua Dream Pools keeps this in mind, and is happy to work with your builder to integrate the pool of your dreams.

The brief for the above project was for a large pool to occupy the unused front yard. With a big park over the road, the homeowners were happy to convert the front of their home into a private getaway for their family. Initially unsure if this was even possible, the homeowners were reassured by the design and 3D imagery provided by Aqua Dream Pools.

Design advice was given to overcome the problems associated with constructing on a sloping site. Integrating the retaining walls into the pool walls actually created a feature and allowed better use of the space. Aqua Dream Pools completed a detailed planning application for the boundary walls, which included fully customised engineering.

The entire scope, including retaining walls and surrounds, was handled in-house, which meant the homeowners were not required to micro-manage the project and Aqua Dream Pools was responsible from start to finish.

Aqua Dream Pools helped select the right customised features as this can be daunting. The team chose Trend mosaic tiles from Ceramic Tile Supplies, including a custom blend on the waterfall and fully tiled steps and seats, as well as tiled high rises and granite polished flat face capping. LED flush mounted lights, Rainbow Quartz interior in ‘Midnight’ with acid wash, Chemigem automatic water management controller and Elite underground aluminium hideaway blanket box were also installed, while Sola Swim fitted a quality solar heating system. Choosing the right products can be tricky for clients. By not having commission-driven sales people, Aqua Dream Pools can offer real advice based on real world experience.

Aqua Dream Pools was also asked to build a new swimming pool at the personal residence of a well-known Perth commercial architect. Working for a client with a keen eye for detail, it was important this pool was completed with architectural simplicity that focused on creating space and perfecting the finer points.

Aqua Dream Pools worked with architect Simon Youngleson and builder Kevin Bishop of Asset Build Homes of Distinction, and was able to construct the concrete shell before the house pad was put down. Towards the end of the house build, the perimeter mosaic tiling and walling was completed, as well as landscaping and fencing, before final plastering of the pool in ‘White’ Rainbow Quartz. Composite decking sits on one end of the pool and all equipment is hidden behind perimeter walls in a service area. Simple salt chlorination is used and solar heating provisions up to the second storey roof were installed.

Buying a pool from a person who physically builds pools, owns the company and cares about its reputation is a real plus when selecting someone to undertake construction in your personal space. With a solid background in domestic and commercial swimming pool construction all over Western Australia, Aqua Dream Pools’ industry knowledge is second to none. If you are looking for a real pool builder who is honest, upfront and committed to building a beautiful pool you can proudly tell your friends about, then speak with Aqua Dream Pools.
