A FLAWLESS FINISH

A REMARKABLE RENOVATION

This pool was renovated by Graziani Pools and now features top-class finishes and looks extremely sharp in its design. The owners of the home wanted a family-friendly pool that could be the base for plenty of pool parties, so a water-controlled water slide was integrated to offer the young ones space for running and jumping into the pool. A fantastic alfresco area is also close by, which means the adults can easily watch over the children, while still lazing the day away with a cold drink.

Since the original pool already existed, Graziani Pools incorporated more detail by adding an automatic pool cover that is hidden in the seat at the deep end of the pool. Building the cover into the existing pool and tiling all of the enclosure was difficult for the company, but the finished result is a fresh and updated new backyard.

The pool’s automatic solar pool cover maximises water evaporation and heats the pool with its black colour, which massively reduces running costs. The pool chlorinator – a combination of a fresh water system and a salt system – gives the homeowners the best of both worlds. Variable speed pumps have also been integrated within the pool.

Graziani Pools also built two ponds at the front of the property, which are positioned on opposite sides of the home. A lot of work went into the design and construction of the ponds as their filtration system was located 80 metres away, so Graziani Pools needed to link them together on the same water system. Finished in crazy paving and featuring an automatic top-up and spout, the ponds create a wonderful and calming ambience to the home.

The company specialises in all types of pools, but prides itself on its ability to tackle projects that other companies can’t, such as pools with difficult site conditions. Building approximately 15–20 pools per year, the team at Graziani Pools are incredibly hands-on and respectful with their approach. They visit prospective clients, listen to their requirements and offer recommendations to ensure their dream pool is brought to life.

The company builds pools all over Western Australia, from Broome down to Albany and even overseas in Malaysia and Macedonia. From lap pools to spas, infinity-edges, and wet decks, to automatic pool covers, no job is too difficult for Graziani Pools.

Project 1

INFINITE BEAUTY

A RIVERSIDE RETREAT

As evident in this impressive outdoor space, detail and perfection is Graziani Pools’ ultimate goal for every project. With more than 40 years of experience in building pools and spas, the company has the knowledge and the experience to give clients the most accurate ideas to enable them to achieve the best possible outcome.

For the Salter Point project featured here, the homeowner presented Graziani Pools with a brief for a pool with an infinity-edge, which would look as though the pool water was flowing over the edge and into the Canning River beyond.

Graziani Pools brought the client’s vision to life by using dark mosaic tiles with a hint of green to mimic the colour of the river water. The tiled interior is highlighted at night by underwater LED lighting.

The pool is equipped with gas and solar heating, as well as an automatic pool cover that helps to retain heat, allowing the client to use the pool year-round. Automatic floor cleaning ensures the client spends his time enjoying the pool, rather than cleaning it.

A 19-year-old Don Graziani arrived in Australia from a small village in Italy in 1957. After working in numerous trades and attaining the skills he needed to become a respected pool builder, in 1969 he started his own pool building business. He steadily built a reputation for quality and creativity. His motivation to tackle the most difficult jobs is today legendary among builders and architects throughout Western Australia.

Today the company’s directors not only own the business, but are hands-on and build each and every pool with the utmost respect and pride, as if it was their own. They visit prospective clients, listen to what they want and offer ideas to give them a pool that will impress. They also quote the job, and are there at every stage to ensure their clients get exactly what they asked for.

Graziani Pools builds pools all over Western Australia, from Broome down to Albany and even overseas in Malaysia and Macedonia. The company builds a variety of pools, and can create designs that other pool builders refuse to do. From lap pools to spas, infinity edges, wet decks and automatic pool covers, there is no job too big or small.
