​For this project, Ben Trager Homes had a vision of creating various levels within the pool area to give the space added depth. The impressive 6m x 3.2m pool constructed by Buccaneer Swimming Pools is surrounded by a spacious, multi-leveled deck and ample bench seating, which are made from the same material, resulting in a cohesive aesthetic. The deck also features a cantilevered edge for added visual appeal.

An alfresco structure was cleverly positioned above the main seating area, providing yet another point of interest, while also offering extra coverage. Poured aggregate paving surrounds the pool, creating a sleek, modern look. Lush landscaping was also installed to add a touch of greenery and create a homely feel. Providing the space with added warmth, the brick walls and timber decking contrast beautifully with the pool’s bright-blue hue, achieving a perfectly balanced result.

Constructing a brick wall along the boundary fence allowed for the inclusion of a feature built-in fireplace, which adds extra character and warmth to the space, while allowing people to enjoy the pool area year-round. Installed prior to the display home’s construction, the pool’s walls were reinforced to handle the pressure of the cantilevered decking, as well as the aggregate detailing.

This flawless fibreglass pool includes a pool cover, a Delta UV Ultra Violet sanitation system, Multi Plus LED lights with iRIS RM3 Remote Control from Spa Electrics, and an AstralPool Viron P320 variable-speed pump. The efficient speed pump reduces operating and ownership costs, while offering incredibly high flow and pressure where required.
