eScape Landscape Architecture Project 1

This project was expertly designed and constructed by Escape Landscape Architecture to exude innovation. The clients wanted a bespoke concrete swimming pool that could be admired from key internal and alfresco living spaces. the team worked closely with Grandwood Homes and the client in order to produce a series of layouts that would cleverly integrate the landscape with the home’s modern styling.

Escape Landscape Architecture used a number of blade walls throughout the property, while implementing structural planting, repeating linear elevation, and installing customised rosewood seating, along with pool fencing elements, to reflect the overall design of the home.

The use of blade walls and pathways in the front entry, courtyard, reflection pond, swimming pool, alfresco area and herb garden not only ensures these external areas look sensational, but also enhances functionality.

The home utilises a range of energy-saving features, such as customised low-voltage garden lighting, solar pool heating and a passive-solar design that makes use of deciduous trees along the exterior windows and entryways.

The retention and integration of the existing trees into the landscape foundation posed a unique challenge to the builders, as did the fabrication and installation of the custom-built pool fencing, screening and gates, which were needed to meet pool-safety requirements.

The incredible detail and complicated installation of the cantilevered rosewood seating were successfully achieved due to the expert skill of the escape Landscape Architecture team.
