This harmonious design was expertly completed by PHASE3 Landscape Construction. Working closely with the clients, PHASE3 Landscape Construction’s designer Matthew Gee created a flexible, multi-use space that would accommodate the needs of their growing family, while maintaining a refined architectural aesthetic.

To achieve the desired outcomes, PHASE3 Landscape Constructions assessed all aspects of the site to understand how they might influence the end result. The location of the water table was also a key consideration. Due to the site’s close proximity to the river and its sandy soil, the company tailored the depth and structure of the pool to suit its environment. Careful attention was also paid to the landscaping, in which hardy plants that are capable of surviving in water-rich soil were selected to ensure their longevity. The site’s narrow dimensions required clever planning to seamlessly connect the separate zones.

The highly functional space features a custom concrete plunge pool and spa, as well as an impressive pavilion and sundeck. A stunning water feature conceals a large concrete well, which is used to pump excess water from within the garage. Its dynamic lighting and rectilinear design create the illusion of increased space in the small front courtyard.
