The outback, country-style setting of the featured project by Quality Dolphin Pools provides a striking backdrop for the azure serenity of the pool, and the hillside, sloping property integrates seamlessly with the pool design as it overlooks spectacular city views from the high hilltops. The homeowners wanted a pool that would blend into their property and provide a relaxed and stylish entertaining area, also fun for the kids. The timber decking enhances the rustic style of the design and creates a sense of warmth outdoors. The exposed natural rock emphasises the raw, organic look the homeowners wanted and is an effective backdrop for the side cabana. The challenge of the brief was for the pool to be level with the ceiling of the garage, so the pool was raised three metres above the ground and retaining walls were built surrounding the pool. The area of the pool slopes over 15 metres by 4.4 metres, and Quality Dolphin Pools had to work within these boundaries to create such a truly incredible outdoor space.

The company also provided the homeowners with 3D concepts of the pool and ideas for landscaping, which the homeowners used to enhance the pool surroundings with their own unique touches – the husband being a handyman and green thumb.
