Quality Dolphin Pools received the highly coveted Pool of the Year award for 2016 at the Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA) Awards of Excellence in Western Australia, as well as the Gold award for Residential Concrete Pool Over $100,000 and Silver for Innovative Pool and/or Spa for this breathtaking swimming pool. The luxurious pool was designed by the owner and their consultants and constructed by Quality Dolphin Pools. As one of the most innovative projects the company has completed, the pool perfectly complements the luxurious riverside property. Constructed 350mm from the boundary with a vanishing edge, the pool has extensive piling that runs down to the base of the retaining wall – a section of which has been excavated and filled with concrete for extra support – and the pool’s shell is suspended above the retaining wall. The self-supporting pool was a challenge to build, but the results make the mcompany’s efforts worthwhile. Featuring a wet deck, stainless steel trough and a stylish water feature, the pool is fully equipped with a range of quality filtration and heating equipment.
